1. Purchase & Contract
By placing an order with Star Cosplay Shop, you are making an offer to purchase a product. The contract between us is only formed once your payment has been processed and you receive an order confirmation email.
2. Pricing and Availability
- While we strive for 100% accuracy, errors in pricing may occur. If we discover a pricing error on an item you’ve ordered, we will inform you immediately and give you the option of reconfirming at the correct price or cancelling.
- Certain items, especially hand-crafted leather pieces, may have limited availability. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products we offer.
3. Custom Commissions
- Production Time: Cosplay costumes are often made to order. Estimated production times (e.g., 4–6 weeks) are estimates only and not guarantees.
- Design Variations: As many items are handmade, slight variations in stitching, weathering, or leather grain are a mark of authenticity and not considered defects.
4. Shipping & Risk of Loss
- All items purchased from Star Cosplay Shop are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier (e.g., FedEx, DHL, UPS).
- Any customs duties or import taxes for international “interstellar” shipping are the sole responsibility of the customer.
5. User-Generated Content
If you tag us in photos of you wearing our gear or send us testimonial photos:
- You grant Star Cosplay Shop a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use those images for marketing and social media purposes.
- We will always attempt to credit your handle/name where possible.
6. Warranty Disclaimer
Our costumes are “props for wear.” We provide no warranty that the costumes will protect the wearer from impact, fire, or extreme weather. Leather items should be treated with professional leather care products to maintain their lifespan.
7. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to Star Cosplay Shop or to products you purchase through us shall be submitted to confidential arbitration, except that, to the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate Star Cosplay’s intellectual property rights.
